Fees: The $25.00 fee includes the
retouching services and one 8" x 10" print (or smaller). It also includes, if
needed for actor headshots, the print set-up, by which I mean your name
placement in a variety of colors and fonts along with re-sizing for
ready-to-print 8x10 prints. To simplify the ordering process use the
Retouching Service Form provided.

First, we cropped the image, lightened the photo, and corrected
the colors. Then we removed skin blemishes and the shadow on the lower left side
of her face. We then put more light on her face and hair. After adding some
additional highlights to her hair, we selectively sharpened her eyes and hair.
To finish it off we removed her bra strap from the photo.

The lighting on this image was poor, so we digitally
brightened the top half of the photo, and increased the contrast to make it less
flat. We repaired the bride's unfortunate squint by inserting a copy of
her eyes taken from another photo. We finished the retouching with a selective
sharpening.

This is a 'raw' image of a library. It suffered from a very
high dynamic range, which means the hi-lights were blown out and the shadows
looked black. Since we had a raw image to work from, we created two different
images using different exposures, and then combined the best of the two images
to give us the image below. If we had only a 'jpeg' image to start with, we
could not have enhanced the image with the same level of success.

Again, this is a high dynamic range image. The
same technique used on the above image was also used successfully on this one.
Multiple plug-in software applications were used to selectively sharpen areas in the
photo.

The retoucher wanted to darken, rotate, and
crop the original image to create a more pleasing composition. In addition, a
color cast needed to be reduced and the bird sharpened. This is a rare bird from
Asia. You will not find one like this in your back yard.
